A6 Broad Street - Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order For Essential Works
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (A6 BROAD STREET) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025.
The Order will introduce westbound and eastbound road closures of A6 Broad Street, at Pendleton roundabout and Irlams o’ th’ Height roundabout. The Order is necessary for essential works to be done. The order is due to come into operation on the 30th June 2025 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 27th July 2025.
The road will be closed overnight between the hours of 7pm to 6am. The diversion routes are:
• Westbound Closure: A576 Broughton Road - A576 Cromwell Road - Littleton Road - Kersal Vale Road - A6044 Agecroft Road - A666 Bolton Road.
• Eastbound Closure: A6 Manchester Road - A666 Bolton Road - A6044 Agecroft Road - Kersal Vale Road - Littleton Road - A576 Cromwell Road - A576 Broughton Road.
