Station Road & Village Street, Bentworth, East Hampshire - Temporary Road Closure due to cabling works and pole testing
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Village Street between its junction with Holt End Lane and its junction with Well Lane. Station Road between its junction with Well Lane and its junction with Drury Lane. Station Road between its junction with Drury Lane and its junction with A339 Basingstoke Road. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A339, Medstead Road, Kings Hill, Abbey Road, Hussell Lane, High Street, Trinity Hill, Holt End Lane
DURATION OF ORDER: from 16th June 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 5 days, working between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).
