Temporary Closure of Quarry Hill and Blackford Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Quarry Hill - from the junction with Manor Farm Road, southwards incorporating Blackford Road to the junction with Half Acre Lane. A total distance of 2250 metres.
This Order will enable Geotechnics Ltd to drill boreholes.
The Order becomes effective on 19th June 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 24th June 2025 and last until 4th July 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 11 days.
