U6091 West View - Temporary Road Closure

U6091 WEST VIEW PEGSWOOD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6091 West View Pegswood for its entire length in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 23rd June 2025 until the 23rd December 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23rd June 2025 until the 14th July 2025 between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 23rd December 2025.
Weather dependant phases of works will be as follows:-
Civils – from 23rd June 2025 until the 4th July 2025
Resurfacing – from 7th July 2025 until the 14th July 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Pegswood Main Road through Village, Charles Street, Whitefield to Charles Street Link, Whitefield Crescent, Shadfen Crescent, Patton Way and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
