What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Anson Avenue, Falkirk from 07.30 hours on 09/06/2025 until 17.00 hours on 12/06/2025. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.
1. This Order temporarily closes Anson Avenue from its junction with Glenfuir Road for approximately 340m in a southerly direction.
2. The alternative route: Anson Avenue, Queen’s Drive, Maggie Wood’s Loan, B8080 Westburn Avenue, Glenfuir Road and vice versa

Church Wynd, Bo'ness from 09:00 until 12:00 on 09/06/25. The prohibition is to allow for grass cutting to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Church Wynd, Bo'ness from a point adjacent to Seaview Place Roundabout in a southerly direction for approximately 200 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: A706, A993, A904, or vice versa.

James Smith Avenue, Maddiston from 08:00 until 18:00 on 10/06/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes James Smith Avenue, Maddiston from a point adjacent to number 11 in a southerly direction for approximately 75 metres or thereby.

Dorrator Road, Falkirk from 22:00 on 11/06/25 until 07:00 on 13/06/25. The prohibition is to allow for Bridge Repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Dorrator Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Sunnyside Street in a northerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.

Waggon Road, Brightons from 07:00 on 12/06/25 until 16:00 on 03/07/25. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Waggon Road, Brightons from a point adjacent to Wallacestone Brae in an easterly direction for approximately 500 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: C28, C14, B805, Waggon Road or vice versa.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Redding Road/Woodburn Avenue, Falkirk from 08:00 until 18:00 on 10/06/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Redding Road/Woodburn Avenue, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Redding Road/Woodburn Avenue Junction in all directions on both sides for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
