Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 5 June 2025:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 3 June 2025, made the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PARTS OF FRITHWOOD CRESCENT AND CROWBOROUGH LANE, KENTS HILL) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2140)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting or loading along parts of Frithwood Crescent and Crowborough Lane, Kents Hill – From its junction with Sweetland Corner to its junction with Hartfield Close, whilst the MK Wanderers Community Football Event takes place.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 7th June 2025 and 8th June 2025 (7am to 4pm) and will continue in force for a maximum period of 2 days or until the event has completed, whichever is the sooner.
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MARKET PLACE, OLNEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2144)
the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit all vehicular access along the southern and eastern sides of Market Place, Olney. It is anticipated that the closure will be in operation on Sunday 8th June 2025 between 7.00am and 6:00pm to allow for the annual Motorama 2025 Event.
Whilst this closure is in effect the alternative route for all traffic will be High Street, Holes Lane, East Street and Silver End, Olney and vice versa.
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (NEWPORT ROAD (PART), WOBURN SANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2162)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow MBNL to carry out works to relay install a telecoms pole.
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following length of road between 8th June and 10th June 2025 (overnight 9pm -6am)
Newport Road, Woburn Sands – from its entrance to Frosts Garden Centre to its junction with Menday Gardens
Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route will be via Groveway, Brickhill Street, Station Road, Woburn Sands Road, The Leys and High Street (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN MILTON KEYNES) (MILTON KEYNES BOWL CONCERTS 2025) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2174)
because of the likelihood of danger to the public and in the interests of safety and as a means of segregating traffic from pedestrians during various concert event being staged at the MK National Bowl in Milton Keynes. It is anticipated that the following restrictions will be in effect on the dates and times shown below and when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs:
To temporarily close the following lengths of road from
9:00am 21st & 22nd June 2025 – 3:00am 22nd and 23rd June 2025
9:00am 2nd & 3rd August 2025 – 3:00am 3rd and 4th August 2025
9:00am 9th August 2025 – 3:00am 10th August 2025
Watling Street (V4) between Elfield Park Roundabout and Knowlhill Roundabout.
Chaffron Way (H7) between Leadenhall Roundabout and Furzton Roundabout.
Grafton Street (V6) between Leadenhall Roundabout and Bleak Hall Roundabout
To temporarily close the following lengths of road from
10:00am 21st & 22nd June 2025 – 3:00am 22nd and 23rd June 2025
10:00am 2nd & 3rd August 2025 – 3:00am 3rd and 4th August 2025
10:00am 9th August 2025 – 3:00am 10th August 2025
Davy Avenue, Knowlhill – From its junction with Harrison Close to its junction with Chaffron Way
Favell Drive, Furzton – From its junction with Barleycroft to its junction with Watling Street
To temporarily close the following lengths of Bridleway from
00:01am 21st & 22nd June 2025 – 3:00am 22nd and 23rd June 2025
00:01am 2nd & 3rd August 2025 – 3:00am 3rd and 4th August 2025
00:01am 9th August 2025 – 3:00am 10th August 2025
Bridleway 32, Loughton - From its junction with Chaffron Way to its junction with Spring Rose Way.
To temporarily restrict the speed limit to 20mph on the following lengths of roads
Watling Street (V4) between Childs Way and Standing Way.
Chaffron Way (H7) between Fulmer Street and Grafton Street.
Davy Avenue, Knowlhill (its entire length)
Chesney Wold, Bleak Hall (its entire length)
Whilst the above event is taking place there will be a one-way system in operation on the following length of road – Chesney Wold, Bleak Hall.
Temporary parking restrictions will be in place on the following roads between
00:01am 21st & 22nd June 2025 – 3:00am 22nd and 23rd June 2025
00:01am 2nd & 3rd August 2025 – 3:00am 3rd and 4th August 2025
00:01am 9th August 2025 – 3:00am 10th August 2025
• V3 Fulmer Street from its junction with H6 Childs Way to its junction with H8 Standing Way
• V4 Watling Street from its junction with H6 Childs Way to its junction with H10 Bletcham Way
• H6 Childs Way from its junction with V3 Fulmer Street to its junction with V6 Grafton Street.
• H7 Chaffron Way from its junction with V3 Fulmer Street to its junction with V6 Grafton Street.
• V6 Grafton Street from its junction with H6 Childs Way to its junction with H8 Standing Way
• H8 Standing Way from its junction with V3 Fulmer Street to its junction with V6 Grafton Street
• Chesney Wold [Entire Length]
• Summerston Road [Entire Length]
• Davy Avenue [Entire Length]
• Roebuck Way [Entire Length]
• Kelvin Drive [Entire Length]
• Harrison Close [Entire Length]
• Shirwell Crescent [Entire Length]
• Seebeck Place [Entire Length]
• Phoenix Drive [From its junction with V6 Grafton Street, to its junction with Marine Court]
• Chapter [From its junction with Grafton Street to its junction with Rochfords]
• Parkside [From its junction with H8 Standing Way to Favell Drive]

PUBLIC NOTICE 5:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (STANTON GATE, STANTONBURY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2156)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road to allow Telecoms Works on the mast, cherry picker to sit on the slip road on Stanton Gate to access the antennas for testing and maintenance works.
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following length of road between 12th June 2025 (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm): -
Stanton Gate, Stantonbury – from its junction with Marlborough Street to its junction with Crosslands.
Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route will be via Marlborough Street, Ashfield, Redbridge, Walsh’s Manor and Crosslands (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 6:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY MD02 MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2158)
In order for Vodafone to carry out telecoms works.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close part of:
Phase 1 – 16th June 2025 – 19th June 2025
Redway MD02 Middleton – from its junction with Dalton Gate to its junction with Redway MD01 Middleton.
Whilst the above length of redway is closed the alternative route will be via Footpath 3, Noon Layer Drive, Hensman Gate (and vice versa).
Phase 2 – 21st June 2025 – 25th June 2025
Redway MD02 Middleton – from its junction with Dalton Gate to its junction with Redway MD01 Middleton.
Whilst the above length of redway is closed the alternative route will be via Footpath 3, Noon Layer Drive, Hensman Gate (and vice versa).
