What is happening?

SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011
(AMENDMENT NO. 140) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that on the 4th day of June 2025 the City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the
provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the 9th day of June 2025 will be to introduce a 20 mph
speed limit on the following roads:

A copy of the Order and a map showing the restricted roads may be examined at the Council Offices, Civic Office,
Waterdale, Doncaster between 8.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. Monday to Friday or on the City of Doncaster Council
Website via the following link

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that it
is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, or on the grounds that any
requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you
may within six weeks from the 4th day of June 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose. (PO523)
