U9083 The Crescent - Temporary Road Closure

U9083 THE CRESCENT PONTELAND
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9083 The Crescent Ponteland from its junction with Western Way for a distance of 105 metres in a westerly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 16th June 2025 until the 27th June 2025.
It is expected that the road will be closed from the 16th June 2025 until the 20th June 2025 at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 27th June 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being The Crescent, Western Way and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northern Gas Networks to lay a new connection to the existing main. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
