The County Of Devon (Temporary Restriction)
(Compton Pool Cross To Compton, Marldon) Order 2025 

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic 

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 30/6/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 11/7/25. 

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: Compton Pool Cross To Compton, Marldon. 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Compton Pool Cross To Compton Road Heading Southeast From Bulleigh Cross, Road From Bulleigh Elms Cross To Bulleigh Cross, Marldon Road, Conniford Lane, Road From Wrigwell Cross To Combefishacre Cross, Road From Combefishacre Cross To Edgeland Cross, Road From Bow Grange To Ipplepen Business Park, Road Past Wave Barton, Red Post Cross To Shadrack Cross, A381 Shadrack Cross To Black Post Cross, Newton Road, Newton Road, Bridgetown Hill, A385 Blackpost Cross To True Street Cross, A385 True Street Cross, True Street Cross, A385 Longcombe Cross To Glazegate Lane, A385 Totnes Road, Totnes Road, Kings Ash Road, Kings Ash Road, Marldon Way, Preston Down Road, Five Lanes Roundabout, Vicarage Hill, Love Lane End To Vicarage Hill Along Zc9, Hulstercombe Linhay To Lovelane Farm, Compton To Hulstercombe Linhay, Compton Pool Cross To Compton. 

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Access To Manholes To Clean Foul Lines & Install Patch Liners & Replace Defected Manhole Cover.
