What is happening?

LEICESTER CITY COUNCIL

THE LEICESTER (CONSOLIDATION) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2006 (AMENDMENT) GARLAND CRESCENT TRO, LEICESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Leicester City Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 32, 35, 45, 46, 46A, 47, 48, 49, 51, 53 and 63A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of this Order will be to consolidate existing waiting, loading and manoeuvre restrictions already in force on the street listed below, by way of amendment to the Leicester (Consolidation) Traffic Regulation Order 2006 together with the changes as set out below:

1. Proposed introduction of No Waiting at any time / No loading at any time on sections of Garland Crescent

2. Proposed introduction of No Waiting at any time on a section of Garland Crescent

3. Proposed introduction of no stopping on a school keep clear Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm term time on a section of Garland Crescent

A COPY of the proposed Order, the relevant plan, the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and extract copies of the Order being amended may be seen via the Leicester City Council website: www. leicester.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders or by calling 0116 4543720 and requesting a paper copy to be sent via post.

OBJECTIONS to the proposed Order should be sent either by email to TROteam@leicester.gov.uk or by post to TRO TEAM, Leicester City Council, City Hall, 115 Charles Street, Leicester, LE1 1FZ.

Any objections should state the grounds on which they are made and must be received by the 26th June 2025
