What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
B6019 MANSFIELD ROAD,
SOUTH NORMANTON
WHEN: 23 June to 31July 2025 (20:00 to 06:00 on two occasions within this period).
WHERE: B6019 Mansfield Road, South Normanton between its jct. with Pinxton Lane to its jct. with the M1 J28 Interchange.
REASON: To facilitate National Highways maintenance works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A38, Watchorn Interchange, A61 to Chesterfield, A617 to M1 J29 Interchange, M1 south to M1 J28 Interchange. Non-Motorway Traffic Diversion via - Birchwood Lane, B6019 Mansfield Road.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
