What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Public Footpath No. 17/1, Parish Drayton Beachamp) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 17/1 from the junction of Icknield Way and continuing north west for approximately 310 metres. The closure is required in the interest of public safety.

There is no suitable alternative route. The Order will come into operation on 31 May 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
