Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
B2015 Bow Road, Wateringbury, ME18 5NX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow gas main replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2015 Bow Road, Wateringbury, on or after 23rd June 2025 for up to 70 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of A26 Tonbridge Road to the junction of Warden Mill Close. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A26 Tonbridge Road, A228 Seven Mile Lane, A228 Maidstone Road Roundabout, B2015 Maidstone Road, B2015 Bow Road and vice versa.
B2246 Hermitage Lane, Aylesford, ME16 9NS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow mast installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2246 Hermitage Lane, Aylesford, on or after 25th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside property number 133, between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 on Day 1 then 09:30 and 15:30 on Days 2 - 5 . To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2246 Hermitage Lane, A20 London Road, A20 Ashton Way, A228 Ashton Way, A228 Malling Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, B2246 Fountain Lane, B2246 Hermitage Lane and vice versa.
Addington Lane, Trottiscliffe (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Addington Lane, Trottiscliffe, on or after 25th June 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Leney’s Cottages, between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Addington Lane, Trottiscliffe Road, A20 London Road, Ford Lane and vice versa.
Britten Close, Tonbridge, TN10 4EF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new a water connection to be installed, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Britten Close, Tonbridge, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Walton Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Coldharbour Lane, Hildenborough (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow duct installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coldharbour Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 11th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Trench Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Court Lane, Hadlow, TN11 0DL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow a vehicle crossing installation to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Court Lane, Hadlow, on or after 11th June 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Court Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Court Lane, A26 High Street, A26 The Square, A26 High Street, A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Hadlow Road East, Three Elm Lane, Victoria Road and vice versa.
Eggpie Lane, Hildenborough (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new water connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Eggpie Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Oakley Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Philpots Lane, Scabharbour Road, Egg Pie Lane, Eggpie Lane and vice versa.
Elm Crescent, East Malling, ME19 6DF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow duct installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Elm Crescent, East Malling, on or after 10th June 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Beech Road to the junction of Edward Walk, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Beech Road, Elm Crescent and vice versa.
B20Exeter Close, Tonbridge, TN9 1NH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water supply repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Exeter Close, Tonbridge, on or after 23rd June 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside property number 22. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Mills Road, Aylesford (PROHIBITION OF PARKING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow electric supply disconnection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit traffic on part of Mills Road, Aylesford, on or after 16th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
Parking on Mills Road will be prohibited outside Scan Global Logistics. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Oxenhoath Road, Tonbridge, TN11 9SS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new electric supply to be installed, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Oxenhoath Road, Tonbridge, on or after 23rd June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Pillar Box Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pillar Box Lane, Park Road, Hamptons Road, Oxenhoath Road and vice versa.
Paddlesworth Road, Snodland, ME6 5RJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Paddlesworth Road, Snodland, on or after 13th June 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside the Snodland Town Football Club, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via St Benedict Road, Snodland Road, Stangate Road and vice versa.
Plaxtol Lane, Plaxtol (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new water connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Plaxtol Lane, Plaxtol, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Bothy Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A227 Tonbridge Road, A227 Shipbourne Road, Higham Lane, Puttenden Road, Claygate Lane, School Lane, Church Hill, Plaxtol Lane and vice versa.
Ryarsh Lane, West Malling ME19 6QR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ryarsh Lane, West Malling, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of King Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Workhouse Road, Ryarsh (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Workhouse Road, Ryarsh, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of The Street and Chapel Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Workhouse Road, Chapel Street, The Street and vice versa.
