What is happening?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
GRAVESHAM AREA
Cross Lane East & Dashwood Road, Gravesend, DA11 0SZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of investigation works to monitor flooding, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cross Lane East and Dashwood Road, Gravesend, on or after 23rd June 2025 for up to 1 night between 20.00hrs and 05.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The eastbound section only on Cross Lane East will be prohibited from Singlewell Road to outside no. 5.
Dashwood Road will be closed at the junction with B261 Old Road West.
The alternative route for Cross Lane East is via Singlewell Road, B261 Old Lane East and Devonshire Road.
The alternative route for Dashwood Road is via B261 Old Road West, A227 Wrotham Road, New House Lane and vice versa.
Dean Lane, Meopham, DA13 0BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dean Lane, Meopham, on or after 27th June 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Strawberry Hill and Dean Lodge.
The alternative route is via Dean Lane, Harvel Street, White Horse Lane, Leywood Road, Strawberry Hill and vice versa.
Watling Street, Gravesend, DA11 7FA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of water main repairs in the footway and carriageway, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Watling Street, Gravesend, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Singlewell Road.
The alternative route is via Singlewell Road, Harman Avenue, Golf Links Avenue, Watling Street and vice versa.
Whitepost Lane, Culverstone, DA13 0TJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPEND ONE WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To clear blockages and enable cabling works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Whitepost Lane, Culverstone, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed. The One Way will be suspended to allow access.
The road will be closed between Harvel Road and Petersfield Drive.
The alternative route is via Harvel Road, A227 Gravesend Road/Wrotham Road, Whitepost Lane and vice versa.
