Proposed Order: To close that part of A38 Sansome Walk from its junction with U53102 Pierpoint St to its junction with U51000 Sansome Pl and to temporarily part suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) (Amendment) Order 1980 on that part of A38 Sansome Walk to enable traffic to follow the diversion route from Pierpoint Street.

Reason: Removal of scaffolding on land at the back of Foregate Street Railway Station by Amco Giffen.

Closure 2 – B4424 Upton Road from its junction with B4424 Old Hills for a distance of 300 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50027 Waterworks Rd from its junction with U50030 Sandys Rd for a distance of 90 metres in a north westerly direction and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Waterworks Road, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1995 to allow two-way traffic to enable access for residents and businesses along that part of the highway for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Temporary Closure Order) 2025

Proposed Order: To close Footpaths SA-502, 504, 505, 506 & 507 for their entire length.

The Order has been made to facilitate path resurfacing.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: No alternative route.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 23 June 2025.
