Rochdale - Temporary Public Path Closure For Works
What is happening?
BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE
LITTLEBOROUGH DEFINITVE FOOTPATHS HeyFp74 TEMPORARY PUBLIC PATH CLOSURE ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along:-
The footpath starts on the A1684 at Grid ref: E385135 N409135 running in a north westerly direction for 505 metres to the junction with HeyFp142 Grid Ref: E384665 N408852.
Part of the route of HeyFp74 will remain open and be available to continue along connecting rights of way HeyFp142.
The Order is required for works to be carried out as part of the ongoing development in the Heywood area. The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger posed by works.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 hours on 29th May 2025 until 24:00 hours on 28th November 2025.
Plans showing the length of footpath to be closed may be viewed on the Council’s website www.rochdale.gov.uk.
