TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC143711057: The City of Manchester (Pine Street, Chain Street & Faulkner Street, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic & No Waiting No Loading) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Pine Street from New York St to Chain St, on Chain St from Faulkner Street to Pine St & on Faulkner St from Chain Street to Charlotte St. The alternative routes for traffic will be: George Street, New York Street, Faulkner Street, Charlotte Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate electrical works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 16th June 2025 to 4th July 2025. The order shall come into operation on 16th June 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Dated: 4 June 2025.
ORDER NO. MCC143709484: The City of Manchester (Broadfield Road, Moss Side Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Broadfield Road From Moss lane east to number 3 Broadfield Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Moss Lane East, Monton Street, Great Western Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate utility works It is expected that the works will be in progress from 16th June 2025 to 20th June 2025. The order shall come into operation on 16th June 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
