Holyhead Road, Snedshill and Furnace Road, St Georges - Temporary Road Traffic Restrictions
What is happening?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Holyhead
Road, Snedshill and Furnace Road, St Georges (Temporary Prohibition of
Traffic) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, in order to
undertake highway improvement works. The order becomes operational from
the 14/7/25.
The following roads are affected: Holyhead Road, Snedshill from
its jcn with Hollinswood Rd to its jcn with Snedshill Way. Furnace Lane, St
Georges from its jcn with Holyhead Rd to its jcn with Wilkinson Cl. Alternative
routes for traffic travelling in all directions will be signed on site during the
closures. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to
be completed by the 15/7/25.
