(Dewsbury Road, Morley, Leeds)
(Temporary 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) to install new fibreoptic telecoms ducting, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel in excess of 40mph in a northbound direction, along Dewsbury Road, Morley; from its junction with Topcliffe Lane to a point 150m north of the roundabout junction with Wide Lane. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel in excess of 40mph in a southbound along Dewsbury Road, Morley; from a point 130m south of the White Rose Centre roundabout, to a point 56m South of Wide Lane Roundabout. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 12th June 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 16th June 2025. The 40MPH restriction will be in place between 22:00 hours at night and 06:00 hours the following morning. M Green. Ref: ECO2500133

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because highway development works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Central Road, Leeds, between its junctions with Kirkgate and Duncan Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: New Market Street, Duncan Street. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 11th June 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 26th September 2025. The closure will be in place between 07:30 and 17:00 hours on weekdays and between 07:30 and 13:00 hours on Saturdays.
