Hythe Road, Marchwood, New Forest - Temporary Road Closure due to pole replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Hythe Road between its junction with Veals Lane and continuing to a point 340 metres South on Hythe Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Main Road, Marchwood Bypass, Twiggs Lane. DURATION OF ORDER: from Tuesday 17th June 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Tuesday 17th June 2025 and working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
