(OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION)
(AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20
VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE BRADFORD
METROPOLITAN DISTRICT**
NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which on the following off-street parking places in the Metropolitan District will be:-
• Burnett Street & Edward Street (Bradford) – new charges 8am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday including Bank Holidays at £1 per hour, over 5 hours £6.
• Rawson Road, Simes Street, St Thomas Road, Wigan Street, Westgate (Bradford) - new charges 8am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday at £1 per hour, over 5 hours £6. Remove the maximum stay period from Westgate.
• St Ives (Bingley) – extend charging hours to 6pm.
Killinghall Triangle (Undercliffe) – introduce pay and display parking at £1 per hour, over 3 hours £4, 8am until 6pm Monday to Saturday.
• The Grove (Baildon) - remove the maximum stay period.
• Cliffe Castle (Keighley) - introduce a three-hour maximum stay in the car park.
• Lister Park (Bradford) - introduce parking within marked bays only restriction.
• All parking places - remove 30-cwt weight restriction.
A copy of the draft Order together with maps showing the locations of the affected parking places and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY, or Keighley Town Hall, Bow Street, Keighley, BD21 3PA, or Shipley Library, 2 Wellcroft, Shipley, BD18 3QH, or Bingley Library, 5 Rise Shopping Centre, Bingley, BD16 1AW; or examined on the Council’s website at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order; or obtained from Tiffany Lewis, Parking Services Manager - Neighbourhood and Community Services by telephone on 01274 431340 or by email Tiffany.Lewis@bradford.gov.uk.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing either by post to the address below or by e-mail to objections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12 noon on 19 June 2025 quoting reference:- CORP/PCD/MW/418680.
