Somerset Council A358 Flaxpool Hill, Bishops Lydeard in the Parish of Crowcombe (Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2025 due to introduction of 30mph speed limit
What is happening?
Notice is hereby given that on the 30th day of May 2025 Somerset Council made the above Order in exercise of the provisions of Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the 23rd day of May 2025, to introduce a temporary 30mph Speed Limit as specified in the Schedule below. This Order will come into operation on the 6th day of June 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The Works are expected to commence on the 11th day of June 2025 and last for one day (between 0930 hours and 1530 hours) to enable Airband Community Internet Ltd safe access to manholes and cabling. The restriction will only apply when indicated by traffic signs. A copy of the draft Traffic Regulation Order and the associated plans can be examined at www.somerset.gov.uk/TRO. a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road; or b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
