Somerset Council Parish of Stogursey Temporary Closure of Shurton Road due to Wessex Water reinstatement works
What is happening?
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Shurton Road - from the junction with Shurton Lane, south-westwards for a total distance of 235 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out interim to permanent reinstatement works. The Order becomes effective on 6th June 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 9th June 2025 and last until 9th June 2025 between the hours of 09:00 - 17:00 for a total of 8 hours.
