Temporary Closure of Roman Way
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Roman Way - from the junction with Liddymore Road to the junction with Wouldham Road. A total distance of 52 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works. The Order becomes effective on 6th June 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 9th June 2025 and last until 13th June 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
