Cornwall Council - Multiple temporary road restrictions

What is happening?

The County of Cornwall (New Road Hill, Hanson Drive, Fowey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 2nd June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Fowey. This prohibition is necessary for essential tree works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th June 2025 to 18th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.
Roads affected - New Road Hill between junction to Hanson Drive and junction to Windmill, Hanson Drive, Fowey from junction with B3415 and Saffron Close. An alternative route will be signed on site. Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 2nd June 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being B3415 Between Four Turnings Roundabout And Polvillion Road, Fowey from A3082 Roundabout to near Atwell Terrace for approximately 450 metres. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because gully sucking works are being executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation on 16th June 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 18th June 2025. The restriction will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600 on a daily basis, weekdays only. For further information please go to

The County of Cornwall (Sclerder Lane, Crumplehorn) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Crumplehorn. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th June 2025 to 1st July 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Sclerder Lane, Crumplehorn between the junction of Road from the B3359 at Barcelona to Sclerder Lane and the property known as Talland Lodge. The County of Cornwall (Raphael Road, Lansallos) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lansallos. This prohibition is necessary for polling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th June 2025 to 1st July 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for paling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd July 2025 to 3rd July 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Herodsfoot. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd July 2025 to 4th July 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From The B3359 At South Park To Junction West Of Lantundle Farm, Herodsfoot from junction with Road From School Hill To Penquite Wood to junction with Road From Junction North Of West Of Church Bridge To The B3254 At Stonetown Cottage. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Saltash. This prohibition is necessary for relocation works of pole and cables and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd July 2025 to 4th July 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0900 and 1600, weekdays only.
Road affected - St Stephens Road, Saltash from No 114 to No 133.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 2nd June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Callington. This prohibition is necessary for fibre connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th June 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1800, weekdays only. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 2nd June 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Polbathic. This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th June 2025 to 27th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0900 and 1700, weekdays only. Roads affected - Old Road, Road From Old Road To Junction West Of Trewin House and Road From Junction West Of Trewin House To The Woodlands for their entire lengths, Polbathic.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Landrake. This prohibition is necessary for fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th June 2025 to llth July 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0900 and 1700, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From Junction West Of Notter Bridge Farm To Junction East Of The Bungalow, Landrake between the junctions of Frenchmans Lane and Cocks Lake Lane.
