Leadside Bank, Allendale - Temporary Road Closure due to Electricity Pole Replacement

U8021 LEADSIDE BANK ALLENDALE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8021 Leadside Bank from its junction with B6303 Allendale Main Road heading in a north eastwards direction for a length of 262 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 2nd June 2025 until the 13th June 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 2nd June 2025 until the 4th June 2025 between the hours of 09:00 until 15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 13th June 2025.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

The closure has been requested by Northern Power Grid to replace a rotten electricity pole.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
