What is happening?
DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Orders,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Wallows Road, Brockmoor) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Wallows Road, Brockmoor, for the purpose of a new gas and water connection being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 16/6/25 and will remain in force until 27/6/25 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Dudley Road, Venture Way, Level Street, Bank Street, Pensnett Road, Pensnett Road, Wallows Road, and vice versa.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Milton Road, Coseley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Milton Road, Coseley, for the purpose of gas mains replacement being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 16/6/25 and will remain in force until 17/7/25 or until the works are completed,
whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic willbe diverted via: Bridge Street, Central Drive,
Eachus Road, and vice versa.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Kittiwake Drive, Brierley Hill) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Kittiwake Drive, Brierley Hill, for the purpose of gas main repairs
being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 16/06/2025 and will remain in force until 14/07/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Shearwater Drive, Nuthatch Drive, Stamford
Road, Waterfall Road, Bagley Street, Caledonia, Woods Lane, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
