Pytha Fold Road - Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic For Installing Long Sided New Water Connection

Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC143432294: The City of Manchester (Pytha Fold Road, Withington Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Pytha Fold Road.
The alternative routes for traffic will be: Fernhurst Road, Kingslea Road, Parkville Road vice versa.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate installing long sided new water connection and to disconnect the old lead supply.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 3rd June 2025 to the 5th June 2025.
The order shall come into operation on the 3rd June 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
