(U20201 Brook Road, Fairfield) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U20201 Brook Rd from its junction with U20009 Bournheath Rd to its junction with C2062 Dordale Rd.
Reason: Footway patching and kerb installation by WCC.
Alternative route: U20009 Bournheath Rd, U20009 Parish Hill, C2062 Dordale Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 2 June 2025.
(C2151 Linehouse Lane, Marlbrook) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2151 Linehouse Ln from its junction with U21512 Staple Flat to its junction with C2159 Littleheath Ln.
Reason: Pole replacement by MJ Quinn.
Alternative route: C2151 Linehouse Ln (part), C2159 Littleheath Ln, B4096 Alcester Rd, A38 Lickey End Roundabout, B4096 Old Birmingham Rd, C2151 Linehouse Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 29 May 2025.
(U41544 St Andrews Street, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) and The County Hereford and Worcester (St. Andrews Street, Droitwich) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1986 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U41544 St Andrews St from its junction with U41531 High St to its junction with U41543 St Andrews Rd and to temporarily suspend The County Hereford and Worcester (St. Andrews Street, Droitwich) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1986 to allow two-way traffic to be able to access residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Hydrant Renewal by Severn Trent Water.
Alternative route: U41531 Friar St, U41535 Priory Ln, B4090 Salt way, U41538 Covercroft, U41538 Ombersley St East, U41539 Victoria Square.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 1 June 2025.
(U42009 Ford Lane, Droitwich) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U42009 Ford Ln from its junction with C2082 Crutch Ln to its junction with A38 Rashwood Hill.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Alternative route: U42009 Ford Ln (part), A38 Rashwood Hill, B4065 Bromsgrove Rd, C2082 Dodderhill Rd, C2082 Crutch Ln, U42009 Ford Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 2 June 2025.
(U41514 St Peters Crescent, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U41514 St Peters Crescent from its junction with U41520 Rose Ave for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Alternative route: U41520 Rose Ave, U41516 The Ridgeway, U41513 Mayflower Rd, U41514 St. Peters Crescent (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 24 June 2025.
(B4184 Birchfield Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4184 Birchfield Rd from its junction with A448 Bromsgrove Highway to its junction with C2137 Birchfield Rd.
Reason: Utility works by Openreach.
Alternative route:
Diversion Northbound: A448 Bromsgrove Highway (Northbound), A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass Roundabout, A448 Bromsgrove Highway (Southbound), B4184 Bromsgrove Highway, B4184 Foxlydiate Roundabout, B4184 Birchfield Rd (part).
Diversion Southbound: C2137 Birchfield Rd, U30413 Birchfield Rd, C2137 Middle Piece Dr, B4504 Windmill Dr, B4504 Bromsgrove Highway, A448 Bromsgrove Highway (Northbound) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 21 June 2025.
(C2058 New Road, Rubery) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2058 New Rd from its junction with U21441 Beverley Rd for a distance of 48 metres until the boundary with Birmingham.
Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.
Alternative route: C2058 New Rd (part), U21438 Whetty Ln, U21438 Leach Heath Ln into Birmingham and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (21:00–05:00). Commencing: 19 June 2025.
(C2062 Rocky Lane, Bournheath) (Prohibition of right-hand turn) Order 2025
Order made: Prohibition of right-hand turn when exiting the unnamed access road to the Bournheath Distribution Service Reservoir site onto C2062 Rocky Lane.
Reason: Safety measures due to construction work on the access and Reservoir site by Forkers Ltd.
Alternative route: No alternative route. Site access only.
Anticipated duration: 731 days. Commencing: 2 June 2025.
(C2002 St Kenelms Road, Romsley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2002 St Kenelms Rd from its junction with C2002 Chapel Lane to its junction with U20601 Ivy Ln.
Reason: Safe working for overhead telecoms cabling work by Openreach.
Alternative route: C2002 Uffmoor Ln into Dudley, B4551 Bromsgrove Rd, C2002 St. Kenelms Rd (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 27 June 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(C2030, C2146, C2145, C2144, U400010, Elmley Lovett Parish) (Width Restriction) (Proposal and Revocation) Order 2025
Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to extend the existing width restriction of 6' 6" (2 metres) along the following roads in the Parish of Elmley Lovett:
C2030: From its junction with C2145 for 85 metres in a northerly direction.
C2145: From its junction with C2030 in a southerly direction to its junction with C2146.
C2146: From its junction with C2145 in an easterly direction to its junction with C2143.
C2144: From a point immediately east of its junction with U400033 to its junction with C2145.
U40010: From its junction with C2144 to its junction with C2145.
The Order will contain exemptions to allow access for certain purposes.
The Order will come into operation on 5 June 2025.
