Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A4189 FRIARS STREET, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 09.00hrs15.30hrs, weekdays only.

Order Commences: 2 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 5 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: A4189, B4463 (Watery Lane, Hampton Road), A46 Hampton Road Island, A46 Longbridge Spur (Eastbound/Westbound), A46 Longbridge Island, A429 (Stratford Road, West Street), Bowling Green Street and vice versa.

BUBBENHALL ROAD, BUBBENHALL

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable works to repair sewer lining.

Order Commences: 2 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 2 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Watery Lane, Leamington Road, Coventry Road, Bubbenhall Road and vice versa.

HAMPTON ROAD, BUDBROOKE

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Old School Lane.

Reason for Order: To enable works for water sluice valve renewal.

Order Commences: 3 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 5 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Hampton Road, Old School Lane and vice versa.

MILL LANE AND CROFT LANE, SHREWLEY

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable works to install new ducting and clear blockages.

Order Commences: 2 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 4 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Mill Lane, Hockley Road, Five Ways Road, Stoney Lane and vice versa.

ROWINGTON GREEN, ROWINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Queen Drive to Quarry Lane.

Reason for Order: To enable works to install a new Boundary box.

Order Commences: 5 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 6 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Rowington Green, Quarry Lane, Five Ways Road, Old Warwick Road and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

GORDON STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between properties 26 and 31.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works to replace a telegraph pole.

Order Commences: 17 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 17 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Gordon Street, Farley Street, New Street and vice versa.

HUNNINGHAM ROAD, HUNNINGHAM

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable laying of new ducting.

Order Commences: 17 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 30 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Hunningham Road, Fosse Way, Oxford Road, Leamington Road, Main Street, Rugby Road and vice versa

LOWER AVENUE, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to rectify defect from previous works.

Order Commences: 14 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 15 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Old Warwick Road, Myton Road, Princes Drive, Park Drive, Avenue Road and vice versa.

MAIN STREET, EATHORPE

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Penns Lane.

Reason for Order: To enable works for installation of new ducting.

Order Commences: 19 June 2025 for up to 18 months

Anticipated Completion: 30 June 2025

Access & Diversion: Leamington Road, Main Street, Oxford Road, Fosse Way, Penns Lane and vice versa.

OLD FOSSE WAY, EATHORPE

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable works to lay new ducting.

Order Commences: 16 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 30 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Old Fosse Way, Fosse Way, Penns Lane, Main Street and vice versa.

PACKMORE STREET, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to install boundary box and clear blockages.

Order Commences: 18 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 19 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Lakin Road, Paradise Street, Roe Close.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

ST JOHNS AVENUE, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable hydrant renewal works.

Order Commences: 18 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 20 June 2025

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING PLACES & RESIDENTS’ PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION NO. SKC01) ORDER 2025

Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above-named Order, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (District of Warwick) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On Street Parking Places & Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) Order 2017 (as varied) as described in the Schedule below.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of the Order to be varied, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, are available to view at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, and online on the Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district
