What is happening?
CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(FOUNDRY LANE, BIGGLESWADE)
(TEMPORARY REVOCATION OF NO WAITING RESTRICTION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily revoke the existing no waiting restriction along the full length of Foundry Lane, Biggleswade.
This temporary revocation of the existing no waiting restriction is required to enable surfacing work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
It is expected that the temporary revocation of no waiting restriction will be in force from 19 June 2025 to 4 July 2025. The order will be in operation at all times until the proposed works have been completed.
The Order will come into operation on 19 June 2025 or a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (SHEFFORD ROAD, MEPPERSHALL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Shefford Road, Meppershall from A407 roundabout to Stocking Drive junction.
This temporary closure is required to enable civils resurfacing works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 16 to 27 June 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via A507, A600, Station Road, Shillington Road, Marquis Hill, Upton End Road, Meppershall Road, Shillington Road, High Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 16 June 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (HIGH STREET, LANGFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of High Street, Langford outside number 72 and 78.
This temporary closure is required to enable telegraph pole replacement work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 17 to 18 June 2025 between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period. The alternative route for this closure is via B659, B658, A6001, B658, A600, A507, B659 and vice versa.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (NEW ROAD, SANDY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of New Road, Sandy outside number 2.
This temporary closure is required to enable chamber frame repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 19 to 20 June 2025 between the hours of 8pm and 6am. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via High Street, Bedford Road, A1 and vice versa.
