(Temporary Prohibition Of Use) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Howarth Lane, Lockwood, Footpath Hud/262/10 for full length of footpath PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.

Pedestrian access will not be maintained. 

Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Howarth Lane, Bentley Street, Swan Lane and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 17 June 2025 between the hours of 10:00 - 16:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).

(Felks Stile Road, Crosland Hill, Huddersfield)
(Temporary Reduction Of Speed Limit) Order 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed in excess of 40 mph in that length of Felks Stile Road, Crosland Hill from its junction with Blackmoorfoot Road to a point approximately outside the entrance to Crosland Heath Golf Club.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

No diversion required - speed reduction only.

It is intended that the restriction will commence on Monday 16 June 2025 and remain in force until 15 December 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(Storths Road, Birkby, Huddersfield)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) (No 2) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Storths Road, Birkby from a point approximately outside property no. 31 Storths Road to a point approximately outside property no. 30 Storths Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Storths Road, Grimscar Avenue, Lynndale Avenue and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 16 June 2025 and remain in force until 18 June 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(Footpath Hud/95/20 Waterloo, Huddersfield)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Use) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Footpath HUD/95/20 Waterloo, Huddersfield from a point approximately outside property no. 638 Wakefield Road to its junction with Fleminghouse Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.

Pedestrian access will not be maintained. Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Wakefield Road, Waterloo Rise, Fleminghouse Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 14 June 2025 07:30 and remain in force until 12 July 2025 17:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).

(Upperthong Lane, Holmfirth)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Upperthong Lane, Holmfirth from its junction with Park Head Lane to its junction with Little Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Park Head Lane, Greenfield Road, Little Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday 15 June 2025 09:00 and remain in force until 15 June 2025 17:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(Temporary Prohibition Of Use) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of HUD/267/10 Thornton Lodge, Huddersfield from a at the side of property no. 74 Moorbottom Road to a point outside property no. 251 Manchester Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.

Pedestrian access will not be maintained. 

Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Moorbottom Road, Thornton Lodge Road, Manchester Road and vice versa It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 3 June 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).

(Temporary Prohibition Of Use) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Bridge Street, Berry Brow, Huddersfield from Start of footpath on Bridge Street to the side of property no.16 Birch Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works. 

Pedestrian access will not be maintained. Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Bridge Street, Birch Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 4 June 2025 10:00 hours and remain in force until 4 June 2025 16:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Fixby Lane, Grange Moor, Huddersfield from its junction with Briestfield Road to its junction with Mellor Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Briestfield Road, Liley Lane, Tanhouse Lane, Clough Lane, Falhouse Lane, Fixby Lane and vice versa.

(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Thorncliffe Street, Lindley, Huddersfield from its junction with Brian Street, to ts junction with Thomas Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Brian Street/ Thomas Street, Lidget Street and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 31 May 2025 and remain in force until 1 June 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of John William Street, Huddersfield from its junction with Fitzwilliam Street to its junction with Viaduct Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:

- anticlockwise - John William Street, Northumberland Street, Castlegate, St Johns Road

- clockwise - St Johns Road, Castlegate, Southgate, Kirkgate, Lord Street,  Northumberland Street, John William Street

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 2 June 2025 22:00 hours and remain in force until 3 June 2025 06:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Field End Lane, Holmbridge, from a point outside property no. 208 Field End Lane to its junction with Woodhead Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Springdale Avenue, Thornton Lodge from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Hall Avenue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. 

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Manchester Road, Thornton Lodge Road, Yews Hill Road, Springdale Avenue and vice versa. 

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 5 June 2025 22:00 hours and remain in force until 6 June 2025 05:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(Leeds Road, Huddersfield) 
(Temporary Prohibiton Of Traffic) (No 2) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Leeds Road, Huddersfield from a point outside property no 353 Leeds Road to a point outside property no 387 Leeds Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. 

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. No diversion.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday3 June 2025 at 19:00 hours and will remain in force until 4 June 2025 06:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(Wood Nook Lane, Holmfirth)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wood Nook Lane, Holmfirth from a point approximately 170 metres from its junction with Meltham Road to a point approximately outside Orchard End on Wood Nook Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wood Nook Lane, Meltham Road, Bradshaw Road, Moorbottom and vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Park Gate Road, Marden Lane, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield from a point approximately near Sparth Reservoir to its junction with Kettle Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Black Lane, Linthwaite, Huddersfield from its junction with Reservoir Side Road to approximately 92metres East of Reservoir Side Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Midway, South Crosland, Huddersfield from its junction with School Hill and Sandy Lane to a point approximately outside number 52 Midway PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Leygards Lane, Meltham, Holmfirth from approximately 120 metres north of Wessenden Head Road to junction with Wessenden Head Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. 

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bridge Street, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield from its junction with Britannia Road to a point approximately oustide property no. 30 Bridge Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bridge Street, Platt Lane, New Street, Carr Lane, Britannia Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 4 June 2025 19:00 hours and remain in force until 5 June 2025 06:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(Swan Lane, Lockwood, Huddersfield) 
(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) (No 2) Order 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Swan Lane, Lockwood, Huddersfield from approximately 20 metres either side of bridge on Swan Lane, Lockwood, Huddersfield PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Park Road, Yews Hill Road, North Street, Swan Lane and vice versa. No Blue Light Access.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 18 June 2025 22:00 hours and remain in force until 19 June 2025 06:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
