What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984

o 10/06/2025 fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Ffordd Blantern, Wrecsam rhwng y gyffordd â Goulbourne Avenue i’r gyffordd â Chlos Walker am 50m i alluogi Aptus Utilities i gynnal gwaith trydanol ar y llwybr troed a’r lôn gerbydau. Un ochr y ffordd fydd ynghau a bydd traffig yn llifo i gyfeiriad y dwyrain tuag at Ffordd Dol Bedw. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yr effeithir arnynt gan gau’r ffordd yw trwy Ffordd Dol Bedw, A543 Ffordd Holt a Goulbourne Avenue, a bydd arwyddion priodol yn cael eu gosod yn unol â hynny. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr yn cael ei gyfyngu, gyda llwybr troed ar gau / gwyriad, a bydd arwyddion priodol yn cael eu gosod yn unol â hynny. Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara am hyd at 9 diwrnod, neu nes cwblhau’r gwaith os bydd hynny’n gynt, a gallai bara hyd at 18 mis. Dyddiedig: 28/05/25

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

effective from 10/06/2025 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Blantern Way, Wrexham between its junction with Goulbourne Avenue to its junction with Walker Close for a distance of 50m to enable Aptus Utilities to undertake electrical works in the footpath and carriageway. The closure will be one way with traffic flow in an easterly direction towards Birkdale Road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Birkdale Road, A543 Holt Road, and Goulbourne Avenue, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be restricted, with a footpath closure/diversion which will be signposted accordingly. The prohibition is expected to last for 9 days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
