U9532 HEDLEY ROAD HOLYWELL
AND U9532 HOLLINGHILL ROAD HOLYWELL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Holywell in the County of Northumberland.
Road Closures:
U9532 Hedley Road, Holywell for its entire length of 118 metres
U9532 Hollinghill Road, Holywell for its entire length of 152 metres
The Order is to be effective from the 9th June 2025 until the 9th December 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 11th June 2025 until the 13th June 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 9th December 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Tillmouth Avenue, Wallridge Drive, Southward Way and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
