(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit waiting at any time on both sides of the following lengths of roads in Ardingly:
B2028 Selsfield Road/Lindfield Road: from the entrance to Wakehurst Place, to a point 185 metres south of its junction with College Road;
College Road: from its junction with Lindfield Road to is junction with Lodgelands
Street Lane: from its junction with Selsfield Road, westwards to its junction with Balcombe Lane.
The Order also temporarily prohibits waiting at any time on the eastern side of the B2028 in Lindfield, from its junction with Alma Road southwards to its junction with Backwoods Lane. These restrictions are needed to maintain the safe flow of traffic while the South of England Show is taking place.
The Order will come into effect on 5 June 2025 and remain in force until 9 June 2025.
