ROUNDABOUT TO PORTWAY ROUNDABOUT, MILTON KEYNES) LAY-BYS

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202_

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) intends to make an Order on the A5 Trunk Road in Milton Keynes for reasons of safety during nearby music events.

The effect of the Order would be to close, for a period of 42:30 hours from 5am on Saturday  21 June 2025, 5am on Saturday 2 August 2025, and a period of 18:30 hours from 5am on Saturday 9 August 2025, the lay-bys adjacent to the A5 –

•    northbound carriageway, situated approximately 200 metres north of Standing Way overbridge, and

•    southbound carriageway, situated approximately 225 metres south of Chaffron Way overbridge.

Any vehicle being used for police, fire and rescue authority, ambulance and traffic officer purposes would be exempt from the closures. The Order would come into force on  16 June 2025 and remain in force until the events have ended and have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
