What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Centre Lane, Tadcaster, Order 2025,
No. 173 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Centre Lane, Tadcaster for a
temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 02/06/25 & 13/06/25, due to Section 50
works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 02/08/25. The closure period will be indicated by

Temporary 40 MPH Speed Restriction, Selby Bypass, Order 2025 No. 175 We have made this
Order to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 40 mph along Selby Bypass for a temporary
period between 02/06/25 & 20/10/25, due to recabling & new column installation works. The restriction

A63 Selby Road, Monk Fryston; A1041 Camblesforth Road, Barlow; Long Lane, Wistow; Dickey Lane,

Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No Tbc, Order 2025 Notice
is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1)
to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984
Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend “North Yorkshire
County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Selby)
Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified below:- Table - Disabled Parking
Bay Sherburn in Elmet, North Drive, South side from Outside number 20 for 4.8m. A copy of the draft
Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for
proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Sherburn & Villages
Community Library, Finkle Hill, Sherburn in Elmet, LS25 6EA during normal office hours from 29/05/25
to 20/06/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, New Street, Tadcaster, Order 2025, No. 192 We intend to make
this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using New Street, Tadcaster for a temporary period (subject to
access to premises) between 16/06/25 & 04/07/25, due to Section 50 works. However, the max duration
of this Order is until 16/08/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative

30 Mph Speed Limit, Betteras Hill Road, Hillam, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that The North
Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor
vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph on the length of road specified below:- Betteras
Hill Road, Hillam, 316m extension in a north westerly direction. A copy of the draft Order, together with
a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the
Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Sherburn & Villages Community Library,
Finkle Hill, Sherburn in Elmet, LS25 6EA during normal office hours from 29/05/25 until 20/06/25 & also
viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or

to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Wolsey Croft, Sherburn-in-elmet for a temporary
period (subject to access to premises) between 18/06/25 & 22/08/25, due to improvement works. The
closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where

Temporary Prohibition of Parking, Whinny Hagg Lane, Hambleton, Order 2025 No 195 We intend
to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from parking on Whinny Hagg Lane, Hambleton due to culvert
installation works. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 16/06/25 until 27/06/25
inclusive. The restriction period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs. All enquiries
