Trotts Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Maintenance Works

What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - TROTTS LANE, TOTTON & ELING, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Trotts Lane between its junction with Marchwood Road and its junction with Park Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Trotts Lane, Marchwood Road, Bury Road, Tavells Lane

DURATION OF ORDER: from Sunday 1st June 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Monday 2nd June 2025 and working between the hours 22:00-05:00).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Network Rail to carry out annual maintenance. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: Nicola.welsh@centuriontraffic.com
