What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Public Footpath No. 5/2, Parish of Great Horwood) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No 5/2 commencing at the junction of Public Footpath No’s. 5/1 & 4/2 and continuing south east for approx. 360M to the junction Singleborough Lane and Public Footpath No. 5/2.

The closure is required in the interest of public safety whilst works are being carried out on a failed bridge that needs replacement.

There is no suitable alternative route. The Order will come into operation on 30 May 2025 as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
