What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A137 CHANCERY ROAD,
WEST END ROAD AND BITE ST, PRINCES STREET, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
The A137 Chancery Road, Ipswich from Princes Street to West End Road
The A137 West End Road, Ipswich from Chancery Road to 127 metres southwest
Bite Street, Ipswich from its junction with West End Road for 10 metres westbound
Princes Street, Ipswich from West End Road to Friars Bridge
The roads are closed to facilitate the removal and siting during a football game. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/05/2025 from 2pm – 7pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF:
THE U7433 HOORSEES GREEN AND CHURCH ROAD, THE U7429 CHURCH ROAD AND THE C685 DONKEY LANE AND BURY ROAD, STANNINGFIELD
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
The U7433 Hoorses Green, Stanningfield from the junction with Church Road to 12 metres southeast
The U7429 Church Road, Stanningfield from the junction with The Green to no. 27
The U7429 Church Road, Stanningfield from the junction with Donkey Lane to Bakers Barn
The C685 Donkey Lane, Stanningfield from the junction with Church Road for 1035m northbound
The C685 Bury Road, Stanningfield from the junction with the C685 Donkey Lane to the C685 Bury Road, Cocks Green
During this period, the roads will be closed in a rolling network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be:
A134 Main Road, the A134 The Street, the A134 Bury Road, the A134 Sudbury Road, Bury Road, Cocks Green, and vice versa.
It is intended that the closures will operate from:

04/06/2025 - 07/06/2025

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C685 Badwell Road, Walsham Le Willows from The Elms to its opposite number to facilitate carriageway patching and covering dangerous chambers and covers. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be:
C685 Badwell Road, the A1088 Ixworth Road, Ixworth Road, Walsham Road, the A143, the A1088, Walsham Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/05/2025 - 30/05/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
