What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Market Square, Amersham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Market Square for approx. 38M. Alternative route: Market Square, The Broadway, Gore Hill, Amersham Bypass. Works intended are: The Broadway, Gore Hill and Market Square. Works commence on 2 June 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 2 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Mundydean Lane, Marlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Mundydean Lane for approx. 52M. The closure is required whilst utility works commence on 11 June 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Gordon Road, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Gordon Road at approx. 47M. Alternative route: Totteridge Avenue, London Road, Station Road, Easton Street, London Road, Frances Dove Way, Gordon Road and vice versa. Closure is required whilst manhole cover works commence on 4 June 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Heath End Rd, Little Kingshill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Heath End Rd at approx. 254M. Alternative route: Windsor Lane, Weedon Hill, Spurlands End Rd, Heath End Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst UKPN (in connection with conversion of overheads) works commence on 26 May 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 26 May 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Penn Rd, Beaconsfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding for approx. 85M in Penn Rd, Beaconsfield, in Little and Common Rd to Ledborough Lane, via Penn Rd for approx. 80M. Alternative route: Penn Rd, Ledborough Lane, Station Rd, Aylesbury End, Wycombe End, London End, Windsor End, Maxwell Rd, Barons Way, Amersham Rd, Gore Hill, Amersham Bypass, Whielden Ln, Stanley Hill, Elm Rd, Chiltern Hill, Plantation Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst carriageway patching works commence on 26 May 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 26 May 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(West End Road, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in West End Road for approx. 40M. Alternative route: West End Street, Desborough Road, Bridge Street, Oxford Street, Westbourne Street and vice versa. Closure is required whilst drainage works commence on 2 June 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 2 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Redshank Dell Lane, Iver Heath) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Redshank Dell Lane for approx. 30M. Alternative route: Redshank Dell Lane, Wood Lane, Good Hill Road, School Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst drainage works commence on 2 June 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 2 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Stag Lane, Great Kingshill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Stag Lane at approx. 45M. Alternative route: Stag Lane, Missenden Road, Cockpit Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst drainage works commence on 18 June 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 June 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
