(C2237 Lower Howsell Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2237 Lower Howsell Rd from its junction with B4503 Malvern Rd to its junction with Worcester Rd.
Reason: Pole testing by Openreach.
Alternative route: C2237 Lower Howsell Rd (part), A449 Worcester Rd, B4208 Spring Lane and Worcester Rd, C2060 Stocks Lane, A4103 Leigh Sinton, B4503 Malvern Rd, C2237 Lower Howsell Rd (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 17 June 2025.
(B4211 Hanley Road, Upton upon Severn)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4211 Hanley Rd from its junction with A4104 Upton to East Waterside to its junction with U61303 Pashley Court.
Reason: Footway construction by WCC.
Alternative route: A4104 High St, A4104 Old St, A4104 Tunnel Hill, A4104 Mallett’s Rd, A4104 B4216, B4208 Garrett Bank, B4208 Blackmore Park Rd, B4209 Hanley Rd, B4209 Roberts End, B4209 Marley Rd, B4209 Hanley Castle, B4211 Hanley Castle and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 14 nights (20:00–06:00). Commencing: 16 June 2025.
(B4218 Wyche Road, Malvern Wells) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4218 Wyche Road from its junction with U63015 Old Wyche Road to its junction with U63018 Lower Wyche Road Service Road.
Reason: Pole replacement by BT.
Alternative route: B4218 Peachfield Rd, U63019 Assarts Rd, A449 Wells Road, B4218 Wyche Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 16 June 2025.
(U63404 Tayson Way, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63404 Tayson Way from its junction with U63411 Sycamore Cl for a distance of 40 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Installation of a dropped kerb for vehicle crossing by WCC.
Alternative route: U63411 Sycamore Cl, U63438 Greenfields Rd, U63404 Tayson Way and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 27 May 2025 and 30 May 2025.
(U63001 Fruitlands, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63001 Fruitlands from its junction with U63019 King Edward V Drive to its junction with U63210 King Edward V Drive.
Reason: Works by Severn Trent Water.
Alternative route: U63001 Fruitlands (part), U63012 King Edward V Drive, U63019 King Edward V Drive, U63204 Peachfield Cl, U63204 Peachfield Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 27 May 2025.
(A4104 High Street, Upton Upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of A4104 High St from its junction with A4104 New St to its junction with C2160 Old St.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Alternative route: B4211 Hanley Rd, B4209 Gilbert Bank, B4209 Roberts End, B4209 Hanley Castle, B4209 Hanley Rd, B4208 Blackmore Park Rd, A4104 Tunnel Hill, A4104 Mallett’s Rd, A4104 Old St and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (20:00–06:00). Commencing: 29 May 2025.
(U63200 Edith Walk, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) and the Malvern Urban District (Edith Walk) (Prohibition of Waiting, Waiting Restriction and One-Way Traffic) Order 1965 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63200 Edith Walk from its junction with A449 Belle Vue Terrace to its junction with U63201 Bank Entrance to temporarily suspend the Malvern Urban District (Edith Walk) (Prohibition of Waiting, Waiting Restriction and One-Way Traffic) Order 1965 to allow two-way traffic on the order access and businesses for the duration of the closure.
Reason: Safe working only by Malvern Hills District Council.
Alternative route: B4211 Church St, C2232 Graham Rd, U63200 Edith Walk and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 16 days. Commencing: 19 June 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation Order 2025) (Prohibition of Waiting/ Prohibition of Loading/ Passage) and Revocation) on Court Road, Barnards Green, Malvern
Proposed Order: Vary the above-named Orders to prohibit waiting/loading and revoke 2 hour limited waiting Mon-Sat, 8am–6pm, and replace with no waiting/no loading on the following length of road in Malvern:
Court Road (south-east side): from a point 58.3 metres south-west of its junction with Geraldine Rd for a distance of 15.9 metres in a south-westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which includes all waiting and loading restrictions and residents’ parking for civil enforcement) and applies to any road in the District of Malvern Hills specified in the Order and can be viewed with other supporting documents online at: www.worcestershire.gov.uk
