TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD
TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend, not less than
seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or
near the roads and the effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those
lengths of Lansbury Avenue and Cripps Avenue at New Rossington in the City of
Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times
referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst works
repair a defective frame and cover are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is
via Lansbury Avenue, Morrison Drive, Kier Hardie Avenue, Gattison Lane From Clay
Flat Lane To Station Road and vice versa.

The Proposed Order will continue in force for one day or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said roads have been completed, whichever is
the earlier.
SCHEDULE
Location
1) Lansbury Avenue at its junction with Cripps Avenue in both directions for a
distance of 10 meters.
2) Cripps Avenue from its junction with Lansbury Avenue in a westerly direction for
distance of 30 meters.

9th June 2025 between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs
