U114 Waterloo Place - Temporary Road Closure

U114 WATERLOO PLACE SPITTAL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U114 Waterloo Place Spittal from its junction with C425 Main Street heading south westwards for a distance of 15 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 5th June 2025 until the 29th August 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 5th June 2025 until the 9th June 2025 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period however, the order will remain in place until the 29th August 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the U114, C425 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Avonline Networks to clear a blockage in the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
