What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.39 (WHOLE), NO.40 (PART), NO.41 (WHOLE), NO.43 (PART) & NO.88 (WHOLE) KILLAMARSH
WHEN: 30 May to 28 November 2025.
WHERE: Close the whole of footpath No.39, No.41 and No.88.
Close footpath No.40 from the junction with footpath No.39 for approx. 382m.
Close footpath No.43 from the junction with footpath No.39 for approx. 295m.
REASON: To facilitate public safety during
construction of housing development.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: No alternative route is recommended.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council has made an order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
