What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Balcastle Road, Slamannan from 09:30 until 18:00 on 02/06/25. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes Balcastle Road, Slamannan from a point adjacent to number 32 in a westerly direction for approximately 30 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Balcastle Road, Rashiehill Road, Birniewell Road, St Laurence Crescent or vice versa.

Drumtassie Road, Avonbridge from 08:00 on 02/06/25 until 20:00 on 06/06/25. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes Drumtassie Road, Avonbridge from a point adjacent to Easter Whin Road in a northerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is Easter Whin Road, Bulliondale Road, B8028, B825, Drumtassie Road or vice versa.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Abbotsford Drive and Grahamsdyke Street, Laurieston from 09:30 until 18:00 on 02/06/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Abbotsford Drive and Grahamsdyke Street, Laurieston from a point adjacent to the junction in all directions on both sides for approximately 50 metres or thereby.

Cow Wynd, Falkirk from 08:00 on 02/06/25 until 17:00 on 13/06/25. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Cow Wynd, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Booth Place in a northerly direction on both sides for approximately 30 metres or thereby.
