What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
A6 DERBY ROAD LAY-BY, MILFORD
WHEN: 02 June to 20 September 2025
WHERE: Lay-by adjacent to the northbound carriageway of the A6 Derby Road, Milford (in its entirety), situated 50m north-east of the A6 Jct. with Chevin Road, for a distance of 60m.
REASON: To provide a safe environment during structural works on adjacent building.
The lay-by will re-open as soon as the works are finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit traffic at any time.
