Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Tofts Lane, Helperby, Order 2025, No. 166

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Tofts Lane, Helperby for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 26/05/25 & 06/06/25, due to Section 50 works to install a new main. However, the max duration of this Order is until 27/07/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No Tbc, Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Richmondshire) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in table 1 below & revoking those restrictions specified in table 2 below:-

Muker, Road leading north from B6270 towards St Mary’s Church, West side from its junction with the south side of the surfaced access to St Mary’s Church for a distance of 29 metres in a southerly direction - Waiting prohibited 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Muker, Road leading north from B6270 towards St Mary’s Church, East side from its junction with the south side of the surfaced access to St Mary’s Church for a distance of 47 metres in a southerly then easterly direction - Waiting prohibited 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Muker, Grassed island at the junction of the B6270 & the road leading north towards St Mary’s Church, Perimeter from the entire perimeter of the grassed island to the entire perimeter of the grassed island - Waiting prohibited 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Muker, B6270, North side from a point 22 metres east of its junction with the southernmost end of the parapet of the bridge to North westwards for a distance of 48 metres - Waiting prohibited 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Muker, B6270, North side from a point 56 metres west of its junction with the westernmost point of the grassed island at the junction of the road leading north towards St Marys Church to Westwards for a distance of 71 metres - Waiting prohibited 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Muker, B6270, South side from a point 37 metres east of its junction with the north side of the vehicular access to the off-street car park to North westwards for a distance of 211 metres - Waiting prohibited 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Muker, B6270, South side from a point 174 metres north west of its junction with the northernmost point of the off-street car park to Westwards for a distance of 91.5 metres - Waiting prohibited 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Muker, Access road to Muker from B6270, East side from a point in line with the access to St Mary’s Church, for a distance of 47 metres in a southerly then easterly direction - No waiting – Waiting prohibited between 8.00 am & 6.00 pm each day.

Muker, B6270, South side from a point 22 metres east of Muker Bridge to Westwards for 300 metres - No waiting – Waiting prohibited between 8.00 am & 6.00 pm each day.

Muker, B6270, North side from a point 22 metres east of Muker Bridge / from a point 99.5 metres west of Muker Bridge / from a point 300 metres west of Muker Bridge to Westwards for 48 metres / westwards for 33 metres on both sides of & including the island & eastwards for 71 metres - No waiting – Waiting prohibited between 8.00 am & 6.00 pm each day.

A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Hawes Library & Community Office, The Neukin, Market Place, Hawes, DL8 3RA during normal office hours from 23/05/25 to 13/06/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Finkle Street, Ripon, Order 2025, No. 183

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Finkle Street, Ripon for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 09/06/25 & 11/07/25, due to works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Crossways Wood to High Pond & District Boundary, Thirn, Order 2025, No. 185

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Crossways Wood to High Pond & District Boundary, Thirn for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 09/06/25 & 01/08/25, due to Yorkshire Water works to install a new water main. However, the max duration of this Order is until 09/12/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate.
