Swale, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

HIGHWAYS

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,  makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SWALE AREA

Bredgar Road, Tunstall, ME9 8LQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2025

To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Bredgar Road, Tunstall, from 16th June 2025, with estimated completion by 19th June 2025, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junction with Doves Croft and Grove End Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hearts Delight Road, Wrens Road, Gore Road, Primrose Lane, Bredgar Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Denstroude Lane, Dunkirk. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2025

To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Denstroude Lane, Dunkirk, from 16th June 2025, with estimated completion by 19th June 2025, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Brook Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Dargate Road, Plumpudding Lane, Fox’s Cross Hill, Fox’s Cross Road, A290 Pean Hill, A290 Honey Hill, Denstroude Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Fostall, Hernhill. ME13 9JJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2025

To allow tree works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Fostall, Hernhill, from 16th June 2025, for up to one day, between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Kemsdale Road and Butlers Hill, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Kemsdale Road, Staple Street, Church Hill, Fostall and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.



Frith Road, Newnham.
ME13 0BS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2025

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Frith Road, Newnham, from 16th June 2025, with estimated completion by 17th June 2025, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Otterden Road and Snoad Farm Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Frith Road, Otterden Road, Bunce Court Road, Hurst Lane, Wyebanks Road, Snoad Farm Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Green Lane, Rodmersham. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2025

To allow excavation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Green Lane, Rodmersham, from 2nd June 2025, with estimated completion by 4th June 2025, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 3, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stockers Hill, Highsted Road, Swanstree Avenue, A2 Canterbury Road, A2 The Street, Fox Hill, Panteny Lane, Church Street and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Owens Court Lane, Selling. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2025

To allow tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Owens Court Lane, Selling, from 18th June 2025, for up to one day, between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Gosmere Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Owens Court Lane, Winding Hill, Hogbens Hill, Selling Street, The Street, Selling Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Tunstall Road, Tunstall. ME10 1RE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2025

To allow underground structure works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Tunstall Road, Tunstall, from 2nd June 2025, for up to one day, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Cranbrook Drive and Woodstock Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Woodstock Road, Gore Court Road, Park Road, A2 West Street, A2 London Road, Borden Lane, Bannister Hill, Hearts Delight, Hearts Delight Road, Tunstall Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
