What is happening?
HIGHWAYS
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
Brasted Hill Road, Brasted. TN16 1NJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach pole testing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brasted Hill Road, Brasted, on or after 19th June 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Pilgrims Way southwards for approx. 520m.
The alternative route is via Brasted Hill, Pilgrims Way, Hogtrough Hill, Station Road, Coles Lane, Brasted Hill Road and vice versa.
Chart Lane, Brasted. TN16 1LQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach pole testing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chart Lane, Brasted, on or after 17th June 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Little Vinesgate heading southbound for approx. 580M and from Pipers Green Road heading southbound for approx. 660M.
The alternative route is via Toys Hill, B2024 Green Lane/Ide Hill Road/Wheatsheaf Hill/Cold Arbor Road, A25 Westerham Road/Main Road/High Street and vice versa.
East Hill Road, Knatts Valley. TN15 6YB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of East Hill Road, Knatts Valley, on or after 20th June 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from High Acres to the entrance to Broomgrove.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Five Fields Lane, Four Elms. TN8 6LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of repainting works to the bridge, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Five Fields Lane, Four Elms, on or after 2nd June 2025 for up to 9 days between 08.00hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between B2027 Four Elms Road and Little Postling Farmhouse.
The alternative route is via B2027 Four Elms Road, B2027 Bough Beech Road, B2027 Clinton Lane and vice versa.
Highlands Hill, Swanley. BR8 7ND (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach pole replacement, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Highlands Hill, Swanley, on or after 17th June 2025 for up to 1 day between 08.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Anthony Lane and School Lanee.
The alternative route is via Highlands Hill, B258 Main Road/Top Dartford Road/Barn End Lane/High Road/Church Hill, A225 Hawley Road, Ship Lane, Wood Street, Swanley Village Road and vice versa.
Lingfield Road, Edenbridge. TN8 5DZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of surfacing of the farm entrance, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lingfield Road, Edenbridge, on or after 16th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Skeynes Farm.
The alternative route is via Lingfield Road, B2026 Mont St Aignan Way/High Street/Mill Hill, B2028 Marsh Green Road/Moor Lane/Racecourse Road, Station Road, Crowhurst Road, Haxted Road and vice versa.
Nightingale Lane, Ide Hill. TN14 6BN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Nightingale Lane, Ide Hill, on or after 5th June 2025 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the entrance to Beech Grove to the junction of B2042 Wheatsheaf Hill.
The alternative route is via B2042 Wheatsheaf Hill, Ide Hill Roundabout To Wheatsheaf Hill, Ide Hill Roundabout, Sundridge Road, Little Norman Street, Nightingale Lane and vice versa.
The Lane, Fordcombe. TN3 0RP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Lane, Fordcombe, on or after 17th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Lane Cottage.
The alternative route is via The Lane, B2188 Fordcombe Road, Old House Lane, Poundsbridge Lane and vice versa.
Underriver House Road, Underriver. TN15 0SL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Underriver House Road, Underriver, on or after 5th June 2025 for up to 2 days between 09.00hrs and 17.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Hildenborough Road and Underriver House.
The alternative routes for any through traffic is via:
Mill Lane, Carters Hill, Underriver House Road.
Hildenborough Road, Riding Lane, Vines Lane and Underriver House Road.
Walnut Close, Eynsford. DA4 0HA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage improvement works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Walnut Close, Eynsford, on or after 2nd June 2025 for up to 26 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Watery Lane, Kemsing. TN15 6NR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Watery Lane, Kemsing, on or after 19th June 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Ivy Cottage.
The alternative route is via Heaverham Road, High Street, St Ediths Road, Noahs Ark, Honey Pot Lane, Watery Lane and vice versa.
